The Early Childhood Education program prepares individuals for careers supporting young children in inclusive, developmentally appropriate environments. Students gain hands-on experience, industry-recognized certifications, and essential soft skills for success. Through a partnership with Ivy Tech Valparaiso, VTEC offers an eight-week course which includes ample on-site daycare training giving you the experience you need to feel confident and ready to launch your career.

Here is small sample of what you will experience and learn in our 8-week program

• • 60 hours in a group setting on Ivy Tech’s campus
  • 90 hours field experience in a daycare setting
  • Health, Safety, and Nutrition training
  • CPR/AED/First Aid training
